Water-talents love to be by the water. They have a mellow, "go with the flow" type attitude.
Pixie Hollow Online

Silvermist had used her water manipulation ability to lift up a bubble, in order to teach a fish how to swim properly.

Water-talent fairies can manipulate water in astonishing ways. They are able to control it, freeze or boil and forming it into various shapes or using it to create fountains. Water fairies are also able to create bubble messages. Although they can't speak with fish, they can train tadpoles and teach fish to swim, and they all understand them. Water fairies can travel underwater by creating bubbles filled with air, although they can't swim without drowning, and one of them, Rani, is the only who can because she's wingless. Water-talent fairies can even walk over water.

Water fairies are often found exploring Pixie Hollow's waterways in boats made from leaves and in birch-bark canoes. These fairies also have a knack for divining and can seek out hidden sources of water. They have more water in them than other fairies, and as a consequence tears and other fluids run more easily. Although water fairies cannot swim, they find ways to frolic near water.[1] Many water fairies spend time near the Babbling Brook or Havendish Stream. Many water-talents are found all over Soapstone Stream, where they perform their prime work regarding sparkling dewdrops or by making ripples all over its surface.

Talent Symbols

The Water-Talent Flag, used during the Pixie Hollow Games

Arrival day water.png

Upon a fairy's arrival, each talent is represented by an object for them to choose from. If a Never Fairy is born to be a Water-Talent, then they will be able to hold a water droplet, and the droplet will glow once they're nearby. This is first seen in Tinker Bell (film), when Tinker Bell fails to hold the water droplet that was placed on a mushroom by Silvermist. The Create-A-Fairy section of Pixie Hollow Online confirms this further, as when the player's fairy is chosen to be a Water-Talent, the droplet shall glow.

The water droplet is consistently seen as the defining symbol of Water-Talents. This is exemplified by their flag used during the Pixie Hollow Games, which has a water droplet in the center.

Another defining symbol of Water-Talent Fairies is their love of the color blue. Fairies of this talent can be easily spotted, as throughout the books and the films they can be seen wearing shades of blue and indigo. This is likely why their flag used in the Pixie Hollow Games is blue as well.
