Uncle Munk is one of the chipmunk elders. He can be very hard-headed, especially when it comes to the well-being of the other chipmunks.

In Beck and the Great Berry Battle, even Uncle Munk doesn't understand why the hummingbirds started the Berry Battle with them. Together with the others he planned different ways to defeat the hummingbirds, even getting the mice to side with them. But, when Nan and Twitter were endanger they all worked together to save them. But, when they see that is was really Grandfather Mole who had unknowingly took the nest that started the whole battle they all laugh at how immature they have been.
