She is much calmer and more understanding of her daughter's stories than her husband is, although she takes them with a grain of salt; saying Peter Pan is "the spirit of youth". When her husband is overwhelmed with frustration at the children, she tries to sooth him, and later on assures the children that their father doesn't really mean what he says when he is angry, and that he truly loves them very much, which is true. She is a wise, lovely woman, and kind at heart.
Her voice is heard at the end when Wendy goes to show her the music box.
"Yes, Wendy? What is it, Darling?"
